Buy Amling Pecan Trees for sale at Advanced Nursery Growers in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Amling, botanically known as Carya illinoinensis ‘Amling’, is a pecan variety valued for good-quality nuts and excellent resistance to pecan scab.

Amling is a strong choice for a home orchard or large property where a full-sized pecan tree has room to grow. Its nuts are generally moderate to small in size, with good kernel quality, and it has an early harvest season. Its scab resistance is especially useful in the humid Southeast, although trees should still be monitored for pests and disease.

North Florida Growing Note: Amling is a promising variety for low-input home plantings, but UF/IFAS lists it as a trial variety for Florida because its performance has not been fully established here. Plant a compatible Type II pecan nearby for dependable pollination.
